Who We Are
Kraus Pulmonary Resuscitation serves to educate as many people, regardless of their healthcare background, the skills needed to save a life.
Our teaching background includes 14 years in the Fire Service and 9 years teaching CPR and First Aid in the pre-hospital setting and on staff at a local hospital in the Northwest Suburbs.
Our classes follow AHA guidelines
- Healthcare Provider BLS, intended for Health care providers and students in the healthcare field. Topics included: Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED use and airway obstructions.
- BLS Heart Code, BLS blended learning where students complete online training prior to a hands on session.
- Heartsaver CPR, which is designed to teach non health care providers adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, and airway obstructions. This class is perfect for businesses such as child care centers, fitness facilities, offices and schools.
- Friends and Family CPR is designed to teach the basics of CPR and airway obstructions in the comfort of your home. This class is perfect for expecting families, as well as families who care for elders. Infant, child and adult CPR and choking will be covered in this class. This class does not come with a certification, but does provide life saving skills.
